Refund policy
The short version: you evaluate HostelSathi free for 90 days without giving us a card, so nobody should ever pay for something they have not already tried.

Try it before you pay
Every account begins on the free plan: 90 days, one hostel, up to 10 students, no card required and no automatic conversion to a paid plan. You are not charged unless you choose a paid plan yourself.
That is deliberate. It means the question this page usually exists to answer — what if it turns out not to suit us — is settled before any money changes hands.
Monthly plans
Cancel at any time. Your plan stays active to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not billed again. We do not pro-rate a partial month.
Annual plans
Cancel within 14 days of an annual payment and we refund it in full. After 14 days the subscription runs to the end of its term and is not renewed; we do not refund the unused remainder, because the annual price is already discounted against paying monthly.
When we refund regardless
If we billed you in error, charged you twice, or the service was unavailable for a sustained period through our fault, tell us and we will put it right — refunded or credited, whichever you prefer.
Your data on the way out
Cancelling deletes nothing. Export everything to CSV and PDF at any time during the subscription and for 30 days after it ends. Nothing is removed without an explicit request from you.
How to ask
Email hostelsathii@gmail.com from the address on the account and we will reply within one working day. Refunds go back to the original payment method and usually take five to ten working days to appear.
